First Lost Tooth

Today Avery lost her first tooth! 

Auntie confirmed it was loose Friday night at Don's Downtown while we were waiting for the parade. Avery was ecstatic. Riggs on the other hand was a little disappointed. 

From the parade Avery insisted on calling Mrs. Becnel!! She was so excited to tell her all about the loose tooth. 

Avery has been pretty careful and told me she would let me pull it out. She would just let it fall out on its own. Well it did exactly that today, on Mardi Gras! She was drinking through a straw and it just came out. Thankfully she didn't swallow it!!

Mommy has the flu and Daddy wasn't in town

I pretty much think I can handle anything. But last night chills and fever and body aches took over. I didn't know what to do with the kiddos. I figured Avery could care for the others until Tim made it home. But I needed meds and hopefully there would be a urgent care open. I called my dad's house. I prayed someone would answer. Dad answered. I explained and he said he was on his way. The kids handled it so well. I told them I was sick and Papa was coming. Within five minutes they were packed and waiting.

Today we are heading to Baton Rouge with Riggs. Avery got invited to go to UL game with Ainsley and have a sleepover. 

Evelyn is getting to have a sleepover with Dearie!!! 

Operation no NuNu...night one

So far so good! Evelyn did great going down without her nunu!!! Hoping this goes as well as potty training 😉!!!

First Day of Kindergarten for Avery and Riggs

Somehow my babies are in Kindergarten…where oh where does the time go? They were awesome this morning! I was so proud of them!!! Looking forward to a fabulous year with Mrs. Becnel!

Super happy this morning...took a little bit to adjust. Calmed down for the inaugural first day picture at assembly! 

Listening intently and loving snack time! 

Outfit change only because the back of the dress got a little wet from the potty!! 

Overall huge success!!! 

Now I can go cry about my big kids going to Kimdergarten!

Avery is so excited that Evelyn is officially walking up and down the stairs just like us! No crawling or bumping! She is just a big girl all around now!
