Golf Clinic Tuesdays
Riggs and Les have been to two golf clinics at Oakbourne this spring. We are hoping they will get to do this a good part of the summer. The first time Uncle Chris met them out there and took them to play nine holes. Last night Tim took them to play. Riggs hit his favorite yellow golf ball into the water...he was devastated. I'll have to let the golf pro know that he is going to have to "get" Riggs' ball.

Should have known this would cause drama
Saturday I decided to straighten Avery's hair when she got home from Dearie's. Worst. Idea. Ever.
First she looked so different. I prefer her beautiful curls. Her personality goes with her curls.
Second I should have known this was gonna be an issue later. Sunday was fine. Curly hair was great. This morning Tim woke her up at 8:20 (note to self, let Avery wake up on her own!) Avery had wet the bed which was a first and she was embarrassed. Then the drama began...daddy I want long hair!!!!
After a quick breakfast I convinced her to let me spray and brush it...she kept asking to go in my bathroom (where the straightener is).

Just us girls!
Angie took Riggs and Les to a golf clinic so I had all the girls!! We enjoyed dressing up and putting Riggs' train table together. After Chloe went home, little Miss Avery went into mommy mode. She helped me feed Evelyn and bathe her!!
An afternoon with friends at Parc Lafayette!
Our friends, Elizabeth and her girls, Adelaide and Josephine, came in town from New Orleans for a couple of days for spring break! Playtime started at Angie's then we all went to the splash park (Aunt B and Robert met us out there too) followed by dinner at Aunt Angie's! I think the best part for the kids was bathing in the bath with a tv!!

Missing our babies...
While we have had an amazing and much needed vacation we are so ready to get home and see our babies!!! I'm sure this week has taken it's toll on Nana an PopPop and all of their helpers, Dearie, Emma, Aunt Angie, Mimi and anyone else who lent a helping hand while we were in California. Our flight home is delayed and we keep praying that we will make it home tonight.
Daddy will be missing history, UK vs Louisville, at the final four in New Orleans. Hoping the plane has an Internet connection so he can keep up with the game.

Evelyn's First Day at Grace Mother's Day Out
First Day of School
I have no idea why time is flying by this fast, but it hurts this momma to know my baby girl is big enough to go to Mother's Day Out. I still remember bringing the twins - and this week I am going look at PreK schools for them! This morning was crazy, no crazier than any other morning mind you, but still crazy. We were all trying to get out the door and for some reason no matter what time we wake up we still can't get out of the door until 8:30! After Timmy helped load all of the kiddos it was time for the twins to bring their baby sister to her very first day of school! They were very excited that she was going to baby school!
These lovely ladies also took care of Riggs and Avery! Evelyn is surely going to gets lots of loving (spoiling) from Ms. Gail and Ms. Savannah! It was so good seeing so many familiar faces at Grace. I am really looking forward to the network of mommies again!
Leaving my baby girl...I think I might have cried if I had been alone. But I had to hold my composure to for the twins!
On our way out Sweet Evelyn was crying as Ms. Savannah rocked her for her morning nap. I'm sure she is going to do great today! After all she is the "good" one!
Daddy wasn't able to go to drop off but I know he was thinking about his baby girl! This is what he posted on facebook: started Baby Evelyn in daycare today - first day of school. in 24 years or so, she'll be wrapping up her masters or law degree and generally getting ready to tackle the world. I've already written her graduation card (in my head). good luck, little one. we'll be here for you - every step.
