We FINALLY have a tooth!!!!!

Woo hoo. I'm pretty sure Evelyn began teething at 3 months. The drool. The fussy baby. Then nothing. And time went on. I was beginning to worry she wouldn't get a tooth before her first birthday.

The past 5 days have been pretty tough. She has been miserable. Screaming. Fussy. I took her to Dr. B on Friday to make sure we didn't have another ear infection. He said they were really red but it wasn't full blown yet. She had a runny nose and a little diaper rash. I knew it just had to be teeth. Well last night she didn't wake up once. (thankfully I was on duty ;)

This morning I finally saw a little white dot in her mouth! It's is the lower front tooth first one to the right of center looking at her. I'll have to look up correct terminology.

Our first week at Reach

The kids are loving their new school. I only wish I had discovered it sooner!

Eventually Evelyn will have teeth, right?

Somehow my sweet little Evelyn has been teething for 6 months but still has no teeth to show for it!! Today she did have a little blood in her mouth which must mean she will have teeth in the near future!

9 months and 1 day

Evelyn forgot to remind us that yesterday she was 9 months old!!! Where in the world has the time gone??? I really need to get into gear and plan a birthday party! With the condition of our house and remodeling I am thinking it may have to be have to be at Papa's house by the pool!

With camp the kiddos have gone to bed earlier. Which typically means they wake earlier. We are so tired we try to get them to go back to sleep ;). Riggs woke up first (a few minutes before 6am) and I put him in our bed. Then Avery woke up and Tim got her back to sleep on the sofa. All for an extra hour of sleep ;)

Pooptastophre

I spent a good part of the morning detailing this car for Evelyn to start using. Shortly after taking this picture she had a pooptastophre!!! It was everywhere. She obviously didn't think I had done a good enough job ;)

Ice Cream after day two of camp!!

And a surprise visit from Taunte Clair!!! The kids thought it was super cool that she rode her bike to Borden's!!

Accidents Happen...and Happen.

Lately Riggs has been having accidents. Partially because we aren't reminding him to go, and because he gets to the bathroom but not soon enough. I think part of the reason is he wants some attention. So needless to say my laundry has increased.

The other day he had a poop accident. And bless his heart he looked up at me and said "accidents happen, it's ok". And yes it's ok but man, poop on me is not cool. He was wearing swim trunks and so when he stood up and I grabbed him poop went dropping onto the floor right before I stepped in it. It was on my leg, his leg, my feet, the floor.... Yucky!

My Big Girls First Haircut

After three years and five months we decided it was finally time to cut Avery's hair. I had been wanting to do it for a while but had to wait until after her dance revue (because her hair had to be in a bun).

 You would not know that she was very excited to have her hair cut :)

 Both Avery and Mrs. Renee at the Refinery are very serious!
