Errands. Grocery. Dry cleaner. Starbucks. I explained to him why he can't get a milk at Starbucks because we just bought a gallon of milk. He says I know you are getting a chai tea latte. 

My baby is a big girl!

Yesterday morning I was still in Houma and Tim was taking care of getting all of the kiddos off to school. And let me tell you Monday mornings can be super challenging! I had asked a babysitter to come by just to help for an hour so she could fix Avery's hair and then take Evelyn to school so Tim could get to work early. 

Well unfortunately our sitter forgot and Tim was on his own. He did an awesome job managing the kiddos. Well then came time to do Avery's hair...she immediately stepped up to the challenge of daddy doing her hair. She gathered her brushes, the spray, ponytail holder and bow. She instructed him on the order of operation. Once he began to brush she said she could handle it from here. She has never tied a ponytail. On her second try it was done and all daddy had to do was clip in the bow! 

I am so proud of Avery. A few months ago a hair fiasco would have set her off into a tantrum. Now she handles tough situations with determination. She is going to be very successful in life. She pays attention to everything. Nothing will stump her! 

Picture Day for Dancing

It was a busy afternoon. Three kids in dancing is a lot! Thankfully Dearie was there to dress Riggs and entertain Evelyn in between takes! Mommy went over board with poses ;) but I couldn't resist. The costume Dearie made for Riggs is unbelievable!!!!!! 

I think it will be a "Ryan" program for sure! 

Evelyn said the sweetest thing at bed time. When I walk out the door she always says "wait, let me tell you something". Today she said "Mommy, I had a good day taking pictures!" Followed by "you had a good day watching me!"

Well Baby Check ups

My babies aren't babies anymore. Almost two months (was not about to go to the doctors office during flu season if we were healthy!) after their 5th birthday we went in to get some stats.

Sweet Sister

Picking up Evelyn today and we were talking about her friends at school. 

She talked about Maddie and Colette. Then she said Avery and Riggsy are her friends. It was too sweet.

It was so sweet. 

And they were so excited

To have their own room. Tonight is the first time they have ever had their own room since they were born. 

Guess after 5 years it's hard to separate. :) sweet Riggs gave Avery the top because she was scared of spiders being on the trundle.

Timing is right

Today we are at Fatima to celebrate with the kids. And would you believe the party starts at 2:15 and they were born at 2:14 and 2:16. Quite the blessing to be with them at the moment they turn 5!!!

New Years Resolution - Pottytrain Evelyn! 

We got home from a celebratory NYE dinner at Dozo with many families. We told the kids to go potty and Evelyn insisted she sit on her potty. Sure enough it started playing the royal music! She filled the potty! 

Riggs and Evelyn

Riggs and Evelyn have a special bond. It's quite sweet. He is so concerned for her and wants to play with her constantly. They are two peas in a pod. They have many similar mannerisms and personality traits. 

I feel for the guys Evelyn will one day date....Riggs will very much be the protective big brother!

This afternoon the kids had a play date and they all wanted to draw baby Jesus. And I have to say I am very impressed with their work!!

Last Day at Grace

Time is flying by! Evelyn had her last day at Grace MDO :(. We have been there since the twins were 8 months old! It was very bitter sweet. And of course Evelyn is just coming out of her shell and will have to start all over again! 

She starts next week at St. Mary's Pre-K2  program. It's much more school and I know she is going to love it! 

She was loaded down with every lovie she could find!

Meet and Greet at St. Mary

Evelyn had a great morning at our Meet and Greet. (great idea to have popcorn!) She is getting so big! She will be the youngest in the class but I have complete faith in her ability to keep up with the big kids! Her teacher will be Mrs. Derise - who we may actually may be related to! My great grandmother was a Derise!

 Colette (in the red bow) is in Evelyn's class and her big brother is with the twins! So excited!

I think she is going to like Mrs. Lynn!
