7 months (and 6 days)

Festival International

What a day!!! This morning I was at the Heymann center at 6 am waiting in line for dance revue tickets. (ticket window opened at 9am - yes they are in that much demand and first come first serve) I got home at 9:45 and we headed straight to our first birthday party of the day! All of the kids were great! (Thankfully)

At noon we headed downtown to the festival to see Uncle J and his band FIGHTs play!!!! What an amazing accomplishment for them! And they were awesome!

We got to hang with lots of friends and enjoy good music. I left Tim with Evelyn so the kids could get their face painted - note to self buy face paint and paint face before we go to festivals! The line took an hour and a half. If that doesn't express the love for my children I don't know what does ;)

While going through clothes to find summer stuff to fit Evelyn I came across this ones MiMi had given Avery. Avery wore it when she was 4 months old in the picture with Riggs. Evelyn just made 7 months and I squeezed her into this outfit for fun! This will be a one time wear for Evelyn!

Sleeping beauty and beau

2am

When I was pregnant with the twin Serena and her girls came to visit us in Baltimore. She gave me a little wooden sign that said babies show us what the world looks like at 2am. So true!!

Riggs had his first tee tee accident at night in his bed :( poor little fella. Avery woke me up by yelling from the stairs that she had to tee tee...as I have her on the potty I can hear Riggs yelling: "Mommy I tee tee'd a yittle, yittle bit!" I scooped him up changed his jammies. Tim came up to settle Avery while I stripped the bed. 5 minutes total and everyone was asleep by 2 am.

Yummy Peas!

So far I'm not allergic to sweet potatoes, butternut squash or peas!! Mommy started me with the orange vegetables then the green. I can't wait to have fruit but I know I have to try my veggies first.

Golf Clinic Tuesdays

Riggs and Les have been to two golf clinics at Oakbourne this spring. We are hoping they will get to do this a good part of the summer. The first time Uncle Chris met them out there and took them to play nine holes. Last night Tim took them to play. Riggs hit his favorite yellow golf ball into the water...he was devastated. I'll have to let the golf pro know that he is going to have to "get" Riggs' ball.
